El trabajo muestra la pertinencia de incorporar el enfoque de género en proyectos de adaptación al cambio climático. De igual modo, evidencia que existen pocas investigaciones cubanas que relacionan las categorías género y cambio climático, la necesidad de incorporar el enfoque de género al Proyecto Internacional Tercera Comunicación Nacional a la Convención Marco de Naciones Unidas y contribuye a visibilizar proyectos de desarrollo implementados en Cuba que han incorporado esta perspectiva. Por último se presenta la metodología para transversalizar género en proyectos del Fondo Verde del Clima a través de la Consulta Pública en dos localidades cubanas, constituyendo un paso previo para el Diagnóstico Participativo con Enfoque de Género que develará las principales brechas sobre las que accionará el proyecto.

The work shows the relevance of incorporating the gender approach in projects of adaptation to climate change. Similarly, there is evidence that there are few Cuban studies that link the gender and climate change categories, and the need to incorporate the gender approach into the International Third National Communication Project to the United Nations Framework Convention and contribute to the visibility of development projects implemented in the United Nations.
